North Carolina native Wa'Quita McCauley prides herself on being a devoted mother, and credits her inspiration to her son.
Wa'Quita has always been a person of integrity, leadership, faith, hard work, and education. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, graduating summa cum laude.
In 2020 just as everyone around the world experienced hardships surrounding Covid, so did Wa'Quita. Seeking the help she needed, she sought out therapy. Today, she is a huge advocate, and says "if you put in the work you will get the results!"
As a mother, Wa'Quita also faced the challenge of finding ways to support her child through the mental health crisis youth faced around the world. Through innovative tactics, Wa'Quita found comfort in putting back the broken pieces that once were.
Through supporting her son, Wa'Quita knew so many children and families were experiencing the same struggles. This experience sparked Wa'Quita to create Writefully HONEST, solely focusing on mental wellness and communication.
Working in healthcare and research, Wa'Quita loves working with people and providing support. Writefully HONEST allows her to do just that.
The Wa'Quita McCauley you know today is the owner of Writefully HONEST, the author of several self-help workbooks, creator of conversation games, workshop facilitator, speaker, and she's still working on more to come.
On a mission to uplift others, Wa'Quita is currently a graduate student at North Carolina Central University, pursuing a master's in clinical mental health counseling.
Wa'Quita has partnered with various organizations and schools to bring awareness and start dialogue surrounding mental health. Through her innovative workshops and social and emotional engagement, she has encouraged, motivated, and supported many individuals through their journey to wholeness and wellness.
Through her interactive, thought-provoking self-help books and conversation gamebook, Wa'Quita has helped many open up and start conversations they normally would shy away from.
As she's stated, her mission is "building communication one book at a time, one conversation at a time."
