"I appreciate this and I needed it! I would love to have more conversations like this. This really made me think! I need a hug now lol. THANK YOU!
"I enjoyed this event. Hearing from the older generation was really eye opening and refreshing. It was nice to hear them talk about mental health and interact."
"I enjoyed the mental health session. I loved the help form. It helps you to open up and be honest about help that you need. It forces you to take a look at yourself and ask yourself how honest am I being with what I need and what am I doing to get the help or what is stopping me from getting the help."
"I learned that it is ok to not be ok all the time, and ask for help. This was a wonderful workshop, I truly enjoyed it."
"Today was amazing! The activity allowed me to be real with myself and the areas that I need help and that it is okay to ask for help. I often do it all and avoid asking for help and end up going out bad as a result! LOL, I will start asking for help and using tools learned today!"
"Good to know that there is a black female available to discuss mental health issues. A lot of time we don't know where to look for help. Thank you for making yourself available to us."
Wa'Quita McCauley will facilitate all workshops.
The workshops are for everyone! Workshops can be created for youth, young adults, older adults, parents, couples, or individuals. Workshops are held at schools, colleges, churches, youth organizations, and camps. I come to you! If you have a group meeting for a cause, we can do a workshop: In-person or virtual
Just as it's important to workout physically, it's just as important to workout mentally. Allowing the individual the intimacy of writing, thereafter gaining the confidence of speaking those experiences and emotions. Mental wellness plays a major role in our lives, relationships, and choices. We have to start excising that muscle and learn some tools that will help facilitate what we need to help us reach wholeness in our lives.
The workshops are scheduled in advance. The dates are scheduled collectively between myself and the responsible party.
Workshops can last from one hour up to two hours. You decide!
